Worship @ Windsor

Prayers, Reflection and Guided Meditation

Here at Windsor Park the teachings of Jesus are at the heart of all we do.

“The impact of collective worship on the school community is outstanding” SIAMS 2015

As we continue to strive for excellence in all we provide for our students we look for new and innovative techniques to encourage our pupils to flourish and live life in all its glory.

This academic year we are proud to launch our guided meditation sessions for all students at Windsor Park.

Guided meditation has been rediscovered within the Christian tradition as a form of contemplative prayer.

Through the act of meditation our students are able to live in the moment and reduce levels of stress and anxiety. Meditation has been linked with increasing wellbeing and resilience; a key value of ours here at Windsor Park.

“The first step in faith is to stop thinking about God at the time of prayer. We have instead to believe – not just mentally but with the whole of our being (that makes belief into faith) that he is with us, and we in him.”
